Class one at Rochdale BACP ends on a festive note

The Eid celebrations at the beginning of October inspired one of our great volunteers to hold an Eid party as the classes finally came to an end. Misbah, the lead tutor at BACP’s Talk English Course in Rochdale, organised a session filled with exciting activities and games for the learners to enjoy and take part in. Learners brought in dishes and conversed with each other, encouraging one another to try their cooking. A pass the parcel game was created with a range of challenges under each layer. Examples were to: write your name on the whiteboard; read a short poem; tell us two things about yourself. Learners got involved eagerly and had a lovely time, many have signed up for fun activities and more classes to give them a boost with their confidence.
