Last Thursday, more than 50 volunteers from the Talk English project in Manchester got together to celebrate their achievements in an evening reception at Manchester Art Gallery.

Volunteers were presented with certificates recognising their contribution to the project, as well as their achievements on their training courses.  This year 35 volunteers will achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training through the project in addition to 25 volunteers who completed the course last year.  After the presentation, everyone enjoyed some food together and caught up with their fellow volunteers, exchanging stories about their experiences on the project.

The fantastic volunteers have supported more than 1800 people in Manchester to access Talk English Courses and Activities all over the city.  Since February last year, over 150 volunteers have enabled us to offer fifty Courses and hundreds of Activities.  We think that the volunteers in all Talk English areas are amazing! Thanks everyone!
