Learners from Learning Partnerships arrived by riverboat (James Bond style) at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds to discover the history of war and conflict, and explore the national collection of arms and armour from around the world. Some of the learners even found artefacts from their own countries and this really inspired them to learn about each other’s cultures and history.
None of the learners had ever been to this part of the city centre and were pleasantly surprised to discover that such an attraction was accessible and free. Those learners with children were keen to return with them to enjoy the attraction.
